Judi Zvi ז״ל (served 1999-2001)

Judi was my friend’s mother, an incredibly kind and loving soul who provided a second home and emotional support for a child in dire need. She took me shopping for my Bat Mitzvah dress and planned my party when my mother was seriously ill. When my mother passed away, Judi was there for me and my family. Now that I teach at Heschel, I know that that is simply the way of things here. In my view, Judi embodied what it means to be a parent at Heschel; she looked out for the best interests not only of her own children, but also of all the children in her orbit.
